Korea Interbank Offered Rates Remain Stable with Minor Fluctuations

SEOUL - The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) showed minor fluctuations in various terms, according to data posted by Yonhap Infomax at 11:00 a.m. today. The rates, which are crucial for banking and financial operations, serve as a benchmark for various financial products and loans in South Korea.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, the rates for the one-week term remained unchanged at 3.50 percent. The one-month term saw a slight increase to 3.59 percent from 3.58 percent, while the two-month term stayed steady at 3.64 percent. The three-month term experienced a minor rise to 3.70 percent from 3.69 percent. Both the six-month and twelve-month terms maintained their previous session rates at 3.69 percent and 3.68 percent, respectively. These rates are indicative of the lending environment among banks within South Korea and play a significant role in the country's financial stability.
