KOSPI 200 Closes with a Mix of Gains and Losses in Varied Sectors

SEOUL - The KOSPI 200 index closed with a mixture of gains and losses across various sectors, reflecting a diverse performance in the South Korean stock market.

According to Yonhap News Agency, KOREA AEROSPACE experienced a decline, closing down 350 at 46,650. However, SAMSUNG SDS saw a significant rise, closing up by 7,900 at 155,200. Other notable movements include KUMHOTIRE, which closed down by 70 at 5,590, and KEPCO KPS, closing up 200 at 34,400.

LG H&H and LGCHEM both recorded declines, with their stocks closing at 337,500 (down 7,000) and 514,000 (down 5,000), respectively. Conversely, KEPCO E&C saw an increase, ending the day up 900 at 59,500.

ShinhanGroup's stock decreased by 200, closing at 36,750, while HYUNDAIHOMESHOP also fell, ending at 42,850, down by 250. DB HiTek and CJ, on the other hand, closed up by 600 and 900 at 56,400 and 89,500, respectively.

Other significant stock movements included LX INT closing up 950 at 30,950, TaihanElecWire up 110 at 12,040, and Hyundai M&F INS up 250 at 31,000.

Kumyang saw a notable gain, closing up 5,400 at 105,300, while Daesang remained stable at 20,400. SKNetworks and SK hynix experienced declines, closing at 5,750 (down 10) and 128,000 (down 2,100), respectively.
