NC Dinos Defeat SSG Landers in 7-6 Win, Complete Three-Game Sweep in KBO Postseason

CHANGWON, South Korea - The NC Dinos secured a 7-6 victory over the SSG Landers on Wednesday, completing a three-game sweep in the first round of the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) postseason.

According to a news release by Yonhap News Agency, Jason Martin hit a go-ahead, three-run home run during a four-run second inning at Changwon NC Park. Subsequently, five Dinos relievers limited the Landers to just one run over the last seven innings of Game 3.

The Landers, who were defending their Korean Series title, were eliminated without winning a single game in this year's postseason.

The NC Dinos will now advance to the second round where they are slated to face the No. 2 seed KT Wiz. The best-of-five second round will commence on Monday at the Wiz home of Suwon, located just south of Seoul.

Last year, the KT Wiz won the Korean Series title, one year after the Dinos secured their first championship.
