South Korean Bond Yields Show Minor Adjustments

Seoul, South Korea - South Korean bond yields saw modest changes in the latest trading session on May 8, 2024.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the one-year treasury bill edged up slightly by 0.3 basis points to 3.444 percent. The two-year treasury bill remained stable at 3.473 percent, showing no change from the previous session. Conversely, the three-year treasury bill decreased by 0.9 basis points to 3.439 percent. The ten-year treasury bill also saw a reduction, dropping 0.6 basis points to 3.530 percent.

Further, the two-year monetary stabilization bond (MSB) decreased by 0.5 basis points to 3.458 percent. The three-year corporate bond (AA-) experienced a drop of 1.1 basis points, ending at 3.901 percent. The 91-day certificate of deposit (CD) rate remained unchanged at 3.580 percent.
