South Korea’s Major Cities See Varied Weather Conditions on Wednesday

SEOUL - The weather forecast for South Korea's 12 major cities was released at 9:01 a.m. on Wednesday, showing a mix of sunny and cloudy skies across the country with varying temperatures.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the day's weather conditions range from cloudy to sunny, with a slight chance of rain in most areas.

In Seoul, the temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C with a low of 9°C under cloudy skies, sharing a 20 percent chance of rain with Incheon, where the weather is predicted to be sunny with temperatures reaching 17°C. Suwon is also expected to see cloudy weather with a high of 20°C and a low of 8°C.

Cheongju and Jeonju are forecasting sunny skies, with temperatures peaking at 21°C, while Daejeon will experience similar temperatures under cloudy conditions. Chuncheon is expected to have a slightly cooler night with a low of 3°C and a 30 percent chance of rain, the highest among the listed cities.

The eastern city of Gangneung, along with Gwangju and Daegu, will see cloudy skies and temperatures around 19°C to 20°C. The southern resort island of Jeju and the coastal city of Busan are also forecasted to have cloudy weather, with temperatures reaching 18°C and 17°C respectively.

The overall weather pattern across South Korea suggests mild spring temperatures with a low to moderate chance of rain, making for a generally pleasant day across the major cities.
