The Kid Laroi’s “Too Much” Featuring BTS’ Jungkook Lands on Billboard Hot 100

SEOUL – The latest Billboard Hot 100 chart reveals the debut of "Too Much," a new single by The Kid Laroi featuring Jungkook from BTS, at No. 44, marking a notable entry for the collaborative track.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the chart released on Tuesday (U.S. time), Jungkook's appearance on the Hot 100 is not a first; "Too Much" is his third song to secure a place on this prestigious chart as a solo artist. His previous songs, "3D" and "Seven," reached No. 75 and No. 3 respectively. "Too Much," which hit the airwaves on Oct. 20, also includes British rapper Central Cee, adding an international flair to the song.

Not only has "Too Much" made an impact on the Billboard Hot 100, but it has also earned a spot at No. 11 on the Billboard Global 200 chart and No. 10 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart. Furthermore, Jungkook's "3D" has shown staying power, remaining on the Hot 100 for four consecutive weeks and securing the eighth position on the Global 200. His first solo single, "Seven," featuring American rapper Latto, has performed impressively as well, ranking sixth on the Global 200 and second on the Global Excl. U.S.

Jungkook's achievements are part of a wider trend of K-pop artists making their presence felt on the Billboard charts. BTS member V's solo album "Layover" has sustained a seven-week run on the Billboard 200, standing at No. 160 this week. The album's lead track "Slow Dancing" has also charted, reaching No. 54 on the Global 200 and No. 30 on the Global Excl. U.S.

In addition, "Like Crazy" from Jimin's debut solo album, another BTS member, found its place at No. 99 on the Global 200 and No. 59 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. K-pop girl group NewJeans has also made an impact, with their second EP "Get Up" ranking 98th in its 14th consecutive week on the Billboard 200. One of the album’s main tracks, "Super Shy," has charted at No. 56 on the Global 200 and No. 38 on the Global Excl. U.S.
