Weather Forecast for South Korea’s Major Cities Announced

SEOUL - The weather forecast for today, as reported at 9:01 a.m., outlines the expected conditions for South Korea's twelve principal cities.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul, Incheon, and Suwon will experience sunny weather, with high temperatures of 4°C, 5°C, and 5°C respectively, and low temperatures of -6°C, -4°C, and -7°C. The possibility of rain in these cities is estimated at 60 percent.

Cheongju and Daejeon are forecasted to have cloudy weather with high temperatures of 6°C and 5°C, and low temperatures of -5°C and -6°C, respectively. Cheongju has a 40 percent chance of rain, while Daejeon's likelihood is slightly lower at 30 percent.

Chuncheon is expected to be sunny with a high of 4°C and a low of -10°C, with an 80 percent chance of rain. Conversely, Gangneung, Jeonju, and Daegu will see cloudy skies, with minimal chances of rain ranging from 20 to 30 percent.

Gwangju is predicted to experience snow with a high of 7°C and a low of -4°C, and a 10 percent chance of precipitation. Jeju is expected to face sleet with an 8°C high and a 2°C low, alongside a 20 percent chance of rain. Lastly, Busan is anticipated to remain sunny throughout the day, with temperatures ranging from 7°C to -5°C and no expected rainfall.
