President Yoon Suk Yeol Appoints Two New Supreme Court Justices

SEOUL - President Yoon Suk Yeol has appointed Eom Sang-phil, 55, and Shin Sook-hee, 54, as new justices to the Supreme Court of South Korea, following parliamentary approval.

According to Yonhap News Agency, The National Assembly's special confirmation committee endorsed the nominations, adhering to the legal requirement for legislative consent for Supreme Court appointments. These appointments are part of President Yoon's judicial nominations, emphasizing the administration's commitment to reinforcing the judiciary's capabilities and integrity.
