SEOUL, South Korea — In a contrasting financial performance, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Co. disclosed a 12 percent increase in its net profit for the year 2023, totaling 1.82 trillion won (US$1.4 billion).
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company experienced a rise in operating profit, reaching 2.35 trillion won for the year, up from 2.04 trillion won the previous year. The annual revenue also experienced growth, increasing by 6.2 percent to 20.82 trillion won.
