South Korea to Auction 3.7 trillion Won in Treasury Bonds in December

Seoul – The South Korean government is set to sell 3.7 trillion won (approximately US$2.85 billion) in state bonds in December, as announced by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The sale will include a diverse range of Treasury bonds with varying maturities.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the issuance will comprise 400 billion won in two-year Treasurys, 700 billion won in three-year government bonds, 600 billion won in five-year bonds, and 700 billion won in 10-year Treasurys. Additionally, the government plans to offer 200 billion won in 20-year bonds and 1 trillion won in 30-year bonds, along with 100 billion won in 50-year Treasurys. This upcoming auction follows the issuance of approximately 6.9 trillion won in state bonds in November.
