South Korea, U.S., and Japan to Boost Trilateral Cooperation with New Talks

Seoul - South Korea and the United States are set to enhance their economic partnership through upcoming bilateral and trilateral discussions, including with Japan, as confirmed by a senior Seoul official on Friday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, these talks aim to fortify supply chains and address commercial issues jointly. The initiative for the trilateral industry ministers' meeting, slated for the first half of the year, stems from a broader strategy to strengthen alliances and confront regional challenges collaboratively. During meetings with U.S. officials, including Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, Ahn emphasized the importance of robust partnerships in sectors such as trade, energy, and industry, reflecting a concerted effort to develop a resilient network of allied nations.
