Dhaka, Sept 2 (UNB) – A nine-member delegation led by Prof Park form Korea National University of Arts is now in Dhaka to provide talented fine arts students from the Graphic Design of Dhaka University with a two-week-long workshop.

Around eight students from Korea and twenty-two from Bangladesh provided three presentations on their research outputs of the workshop where they were let into the graphic design practice of Korea.

Following the workshop, the attendees exhibited their works at Zainul Gallery with the contents of 15-day long workshop, said a Korean Embassy press release on Wednesday.

Miseol Park, first secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Dhaka, and Maksudur Rahman, chairman of the Graphics Design Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Dhaka, jointly inaugurated the exhibition on August 27.

Rahman said that he highly appreciated the Dream Project as the students of graphic design could extend their aspect and practiced their design skills during the workshop and this project should continue.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea launched a ‘Dream Programme’ in the field of culture and art in Bangladesh in 2013.
