SEOUL -- The government will reorganize its key financial policy tools to spur its job creation drive and link its evaluation of public organizations to the initiative, the presidential office Cheong Wa Dae said Thursday.

The decision came during President Moon Jae-in's meeting with senior presidential secretaries.

"The government will use every viable means, including the budget, tax, finance and public procurement, for the implementation of the key policies to focus on job creation," presidential spokesman Park Soo-hyun told reporters. The spokesman added that the presidential jobs committee will take the lead in carrying out the process.

The government also plans to either assign an official from each ministry and provincial office or create a position solely in charge of the job initiatives, he added.
